Former Olympian and leading regional lawyer Zoe Lyman recently took over as sole CEO, overseeing a team in excess of 100 consultants.

Among those are Wayne Coulston, who has been promoted to expert advisor within the firm’s project management & performance practice in Canberra after joining the firm from Raytheon in the middle of last year. Coulston spent close two two decades with Raytheon, latterly as director of information technology, and was noted by Proximity for “drawing on his technical, business and leadership skills to tackle challenges head-on.”

Cassandra Koch is a member of Proximity’s transformation team in Canberra where she has served as a senior advisor since the middle of last year. “Cassandra has played a pivotal role in shaping the team and delivering key projects,” the firm wrote. “She will play an important role at Proximity to build new client connections to win work for the team.”

Declan Norrie has been with Proximity since 2017, joining the consultancy’s policy & programs practice on the back of a bachelor of science-law double at ANU. “Declan has a multidisciplinary skillset with the ability to work across consulting, legal and commercial roles at Proximity,” the firm wrote. “He consistently delivers high-quality, strategic outcomes for clients across the federal and Victorian governments.”

New senior advisors Kyle Wood and Twoey Jones are part of Proximity’s policy & programs and procurement & contracts teams out of Canberra. Also a law graduate of ANU, Wood joined the firm at the start of 2019, while Jones came to the firm a year earlier via the Department of Defence, where he altogether spent three and a half years working in procurement and contracting.
