Atturra promotes Ash Colmer to Western Australia consulting leader
Atturra has promoted Ash Colmer to regional leader within its management and technology consulting business.
Appointed General Manager for Atturra’s Advisory & Consulting division in Western Australia, Ash Colmer will be responsible for accelerating the organisation’s consultancy services capability both among Western Australian state and local government departments and agencies, as well as in critical industries, including mining, utilities and infrastructure.
Formerly known as FTS Group, Atturra has over the past years closed numerous consulting acquisitions to build its capabilities in the landscape. The ASX-listed business generated revenues of $178 million in its latest financial year.
“I am very excited to announce that I have moved home to Perth, and, through my long association with Noetic, I will be leading the Atturra’s consulting expansion in Western Australia,” said Colmer.
“Our strategy is a growth strategy, and I’m excited to help support Atturra with a growing set of clients to unlock limitless value and capture new opportunities from their people, processes and technology.”
Colmer brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, the past seven years with Atturra (and Noetic) in Canberra. During his time, he has overseen over thirty projects for clients, including helping the Australian Antarctic Division with the implementation of a new organisational structure to support its operations, as well as the development of a strategy to support critical assets and infrastructure.
He also led a project with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to develop a long-term operational model for national biosecurity, and supported the Department of Defence with the evaluation of emerging technologies and their impact on the department’s overall capabilities.
Prior to working in consultancy and professional services, Colmer was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army.
“This is an important time for our consulting services business as we focus on expanding capability and reinforce the delivery of service excellence for our clients in Western Australia, as well as nationwide,” said Andrew Balmaks, Executive General Manager of Atturra’s Advisory & Consulting division.
