Trace promotes Emma Woodberry and Tim Fagan
Boutique consulting firm Trace has hit a people-focused milestone, making its first internal promotions since opening for business 18 months ago.
Launched late 2022 by former GRA and Accenture seniors Shanaka Jayasinghe and Mathew Tolley, Trace is a consultancy specialised in supply chain advisory, working for clients in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.
Following successful growth in business and headcount, the firm’s first two hires – Emma Woodberry and Tim Fagan – have now been rewarded with a step up. Both joined in the early months and now are a Senior Manager.
Emma Woodberry led the establishment of Trace’s Brisbane office and the growth of its supply chain sustainability offering. Prior to joining Trace in 2022, Emma was a manager with PwC focusing on supply chain engagements in the health, defence and government industries, and a former Logistics Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.
Tim Fagan meanwhile has focused on building out Trace’s offerings in Sydney, delivering solutions across supply chain planning and operations. With experience across supply chain analytics, operations and planning transformation, Fagan started his career in the Primary Connect team at Woolworths Group, followed by seven years of supply chain consulting at both GRA and Accenture. He joined Trace in April 2023.
“Of all the great moments we’ve experienced in trace. so far, this one is extra special,” said co-founder Tolley. “Emma and Tim have been instrumental in building and maintaining our early momentum. Their ability to connect with clients, deliver solutions and develop our team have been outstanding. We look forward to celebrating with them in person at our upcoming strategy day.”
