Energy executive Andrew Dillon joins Baringa’s Australian team
Baringa has strengthened its Energy & Resources practice in Australia with the hire of Andrew Dillon.
Appointed a Director in the Policy & Regulatory practice of Baringa, Andrew Dillon will leverage his experience across industry and government to help the management consulting firm expand its offerings in the energy & resources and government landscape.
Dillon most recently spent five years as the CEO of Energy Networks Australia, the national body representing electricity and gas network businesses throughout Australia.
Before that, Dillion held numerous executive roles in the energy industry, including at AustNet Services, EnergyAustralia, the Energy Supply Association of Australia and as a senior adviser in the Victorian Government. He is also a former Director of Goulburn Valley Water and the Australian Gas Industry Trust, and was a member of the Hydrogen Strategy Group.
Commenting on the expansion, Peter Sherry, Lead Partner of the Energy & Resources practice in Australia, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to our team. His extensive industry experience and deep understanding of the Australian policy and regulatory landscape will be instrumental in driving our growth and creating a lasting impact with our clients.”
The news comes hot on the heels of Baringa being named one of Australia’s leading consulting firms in the energy sector, a recognition the firm also recently landed in its home UK market.
“The arrival of Andrew marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering exceptional consulting services to clients in the Australian market,” stated Sherry.
Outside of Australia and the United Kingdom, Baringa also has offices across Europe, the US, and Asia.
