Data#3 opens doors to new Perth office in latest milestone

Technology consulting and services firm Data#3 has opened the doors to its new office in Perth, which will be overseen by recently appointed Western Australia general manager Vince Troth.

Based in the heart of the central business district at 140 St Georges Terrace, Data#3 described the upgrade from its former Mounts Bay Road address as a dynamic, state-of-the-art space designed to foster collaboration and connection.

The move marks the latest milestone in a busy period of transition for the firm, with Vince Troth’s appointment as WA general manager in June followed by Rowena Collins taking over in Queensland and the addition of Diana Eilert as a director.

“This new office embodies our commitment to driving innovation and delivering transformative solutions for the people of Western Australia,” stated Data#3 CEO Brad Colledge. “It stands as a testament to our long-term investment in the region and we look forward to fostering new collaborations and strengthening our support for organisations across the state.”

The office launch event, attended by WA science & innovation minister Stephen Dawson, was Troth’s first official engagement for the firm since his appointment to replace Kingsley McGarrigle (now an executive GM at OneStep Group) in June, bringing an extensive IT industry background including previous senior roles at Schneider Electric, Fujifilm, and Optus

Troth’s appointment was quickly followed by that of Rowena Collins as general manager for Queensland & Pacific Islands, replacing company stalwart Ray Merlano after more than a decade in the role and altogether 27 years at the firm across two stints. First joining in 2011, Collins herself has been based out of the firm’s Brisbane headquarters for approximately half that time.

“Rowena’s deep understanding of our business, her collaborative leadership style, and her proven ability to deliver results made her the standout choice,” said Data#3 chief customer officer John Tan. “Her appointment is a testament to the strength of our Queensland business and our continued investment in leadership that understands our customers, people, and purpose.”

Along with its new state general managers, Data#3 has also welcomed two new directors to its board, including former long-term CEO Laurence Baynham alongside one-time IBM Consulting partner and Kearney consultant Diana Eilert, while in another recent milestone, Data#3 earlier this year celebrated its subsidiary Business Aspect’s 20th anniversary.
