Rennie advises Perdaman on acquisition of Amanda Energy Solutions
Perdaman has acquired business energy supplier Amanda Energy Solutions, with Rennie among the buy-side deal advisors.
Headquartered in Western Australia, Perdaman is a diversified group that is active in diverse markets, including fertiliser urea & ammonia production, pharmaceuticals, retail, investment management, recruitment, immigration, translation, student services, and sustainable energy solutions.
Amanda Energy Solutions meanwhile is an energy provider focused on the B2B segment, offering customised electricity, gas solar and battery solutions. Founded in 2010 and based in Perth, the company serves commercial and industrial businesses across Western Australia.
The acquisition of Amanda Energy Solutions expands Perdaman’s energy division, which provides electricity and gas retail operations to enterprises and SME businesses.
Vikas Rambal, Chairman of Perdaman, said that the deal will help scale its energy business and complements its traditional energy and renewables portfolio.
“This acquisition represents a strategic step forward in Perdaman’s long-term vision to be an innovative, delivery-focused energy player in Western Australia. By bringing Amanda Energy Solutions into Perdaman, we are strengthening our ability to deliver integrated electricity, gas, solar and battery solutions backed by advanced data insights, delivery excellence and local industry know-how,” he said.
Perdaman was advised during the transaction by Rennie, which provided commercial and regulatory due diligence, as well as strategic planning support alongside the Perdaman team. Other dealmakers were unknown at the time of publication.
For Amanda Energy Solutions, the joining of forces with the larger group will enable the team to “expand its market presence” while benefitting its clients through “a broader suite of offerings”, said founder and chief operating officer Martin Jurat.
