Kari Johannsen joins Sydney-based consulting firm Bendelta
Sydney-based management consultancy Bendelta has strengthened its team with Kari Johannsen.
Appointed a Manager, Johannsen joined the consulting firm from Deloitte, where she worked as a change management consultant in the firms’ Human Capital Advisory Services practice, which is part of Deloitte Consulting. Based in the UK, Nordic-origin Johannsen worked on a business transformation programme for a FTSE 100 FMCG organisation, focused on human capital and change management services.
Commenting on her role on the project, Johannsen said, “I led the design and delivery of the behaviour change project including current versus desired behaviours assessment, improved the current leadership capability framework, developed a behavioural transition toolkit, defined the companywide behavioural change roll-out strategy, and ensured cross functional and regional stakeholder engagement.
Before her spell in consulting, the Aarhus University (Denmark) graduate worked three years for Great Place to Work, a company that helps organisations with workplace culture benchmarks and certification. Here, Johannsen “acquired extensive knowledge about the foundations for a high-trust, high performing organisation and how to utilise the power of organisational psychology and behavioural science.”
Having now relocated to Australia, Johannsen will leverage this experience to help Bendelta’s clients with improving their employee experience and manager behaviours to enable the full potential of its people.
Anthony Mitchell, co-founder and chief potential officer of Bendelta, on the new hire: “Kari brings with her a wealth of international experience and extensive knowledge and insight into the specific people practices and behaviours that unleash the power of the workforce, as well as the leadership and management behaviours that build organisational trust and engagement. We’re super pleased to welcome her!”
Bendelta was founded in 2003 and currently employs a team of around 80 consultants and staff. Last year the firm grew by 18% in headcount and scooped two awards for its leadership development and workplace excellence services.
