Consulting firms win awards for innovative SAP transformations
Accenture, DXT, PwC and Wipro have been named one of the top SAP consultancies in Australia and New Zealand, at SAP’s annual Best Run Awards.
Now into its third edition, the Best Run Awards by software giant SAP recognise innovative business transformations leveraging SAP products or services, with providers competing across eleven categories. The awards were announced via a livestream from Sydney, hosted by SAP ANZ Managing Director Damien Bueno.
“The calibre of nominations is testament to the innovation of our customers and partners across Australia and New Zealand,” commented Bueno. “What’s more, achieving this through another year impacted by the pandemic demonstrates the resilience and drive of our ecosystem. The scale, impact, and breadth of innovation we have seen throughout this year’s categories – from every company that has been shortlisted – is exceptional.”
Accenture was perhaps the biggest winner of the night, taking home two awards for its ongoing work with Coles – Human Resources & People Management, and Network & Spend Management – while also picking up the Experience Management award through a collaboration with mental health organisation Beyond Blue. Its subsidiary Zag, a SAP specialist acquired in October last year, added the Industry Disruptor award, together with Kiwi telco Chorus.
DXC Technology meanwhile scored two awards, following up from its Industry Disruptor award last year. The first, for CRM & Customer Experience, was for its work with Lion, which saw a successful overhaul of the local brewing giant’s CX across multiple touch-points through the deployment of a range of SAP customer experience apps.
The company’s second award was for Best Run Digital Supply Chain, gained through a field service management and supply chain optimisation project for Rheem.
Elsewhere, PwC as strategic partner and Wipro as system integration and transformation partner jointly won the Intelligent ERP Enterprise award for helping Sydney Water to enhance its back office operations, including in the areas of finance, procurement and supply chain – which was a continuation of a five-year transformation journey between the parties. The project leveraged SAP products including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
