Salesforce celebrates top APAC consulting partners at annual awards
Accenture, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and PwC were among the big consulting names to have been recognised in Salesforce’s APAC Partner of the Year Awards for 2022, with Accenture claiming the A/NZ and overall APAC consulting titles as Implementation Partner of the Year.
Having last year broken through the $1 billion revenue barrier in Australia, including those generated by its $37.5 billion Slack acquisition, Salesforce is the world’s leading customer relationship management platform – with appropriately coveted partner awards.
According to Salesforce, the awards recognise its (consulting) partners with the best performance across customer success stories, together with expertise, sales and innovation. They also take into account philanthropy as to the Pledge 1% initiative.
At the awards, Accenture was chuffed to come close to a clean-sweep for the Asia Pacific geography, picking up two of the three regional implementation awards (ANZ and India), only missing out to Deloitte for the Asia accolade, and in addition was named Salesforce’s overall top implementation partner across Asia pacific.
Accenture’s strong showing at Salesforce’s Partner Summit follows on from another recent win in the Appian Asia Pacific Partner Awards, where its Australian practice took home the Growth title as one of six categories. Accenture was awarded for leveraging its global Appian partnership to fuel local growth and “invest in building an Appian delivery capability across multiple sectors including government and financial services.”
Meanwhile, a number of other global consultancies have also triumphed in Salesforce’s trailblazer Partner of the Year sub-categories, including Tech Mahindra (customer success), Infosys – awarded for capacity via its specialist Salesforce subsidiary Simplus, acquired for $250 million in 2020 – and PwC, which was recognised for its sustainable development impact in building a technology training platform for Indigenous youth.
PwC partner and Australia & APAC Salesforce lead David Tan took to LinkedIn to celebrate the achievement; “This win reinforces the strength of our alliance with Salesforce and demonstrates our ability to deliver excellent outcomes and create transformative solutions for our customers. Together, we focus on transforming today’s businesses by applying our collective experience, expertise and capabilities to optimise value and deliver lasting results.”
Other winners at the competition included: Screen-Magic Mobile Media, Ceptes Software, Brooke Institute, Lumary, Aethereus Consulting, J4RVIS, and Beryl 8 Plus.
