Industry executive Rob Stummer joins ERP advisory firm SMC

ERP consultancy SMC has brought in seasoned industry executive Rob Stummer to strengthen its leadership team.

Appointed Director of Growth, Rob Stummer brings over 15 years of experience as an executive and a further 10+ years of experience in IT consulting with a focus on ERP and enterprise software to the consulting firm.

In his newly created role, Stummer will focus on expanding SMC’s footprint in the Australia and New Zealand market. The firm currently has over 40 staff operating out of hubs in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.

Founded in 2006, SMC is an advisory and implementation company specialised in enterprise software, as part of wider digital transformation agendas. The firm helps its clients – typically SMEs and mid-sized organisations – with their entire ERP and software journey, from strategic advisory and vendor plus system selection, through to implementation and optimising operations.

Notably independent of software vendors and implementers, SMC has delivered over 550 projects since its inception.

Prior to joining SMC, Stummer held multiple executive roles, including Managing Director for ANZ at Pagero, CEO for Asia Pacific at Syspro, and Managing Director for ANZ at IFS. He also serves as a non-executive on a number of boards. Earlier in his career, he had tenures at Accenture and KPMG, among others.
