SMC and Alyve team up on end-to-end AI transformations

ERP advisory Solution Minds Consulting (SMC) has teamed up with AI specialist Alyve in a new strategic partnership aimed at supporting companies with turning AI strategy into execution.
Next year celebrating its 20th anniversary, SMC is one of Australia’s leading independent consultancies focused on enterprise resource planning (ERP), with a team of more than 60 serving clients across the country in a wide range of industries.
Founded in Melbourne by prominent industry figure Mark Cameron just as long ago, Alyve meanwhile provides a range of people-centric digital transformation strategy, optimisation, innovation, and delivery services with a particular focus on AI.
Now, the pair’s clients – including many well-known Australian names such as Telstra, ANZ, and various government departments – are set to benefit from their new strategic partnership, in what they say will eliminate one of the most persistent barriers to AI success in Australia: the gap between strategy and enterprise-wide execution.
“That’s where we come in,” says Rob Stummer, who joined SMC as director of growth in 2023. “This alliance directly addresses the biggest barrier to AI success we see in boardrooms today: execution. While many leaders are sold on the potential of AI, most lack the road-map, systems alignment, and organisational readiness to deliver real outcomes.”
The new partners say that in joining forces, they bring complementary strengths to the table: SMC’s end-to-end enterprise systems experience and digital transformation muscle combined with Alyve’s visionary strategy, use case design, and generative AI expertise, such that Australian organisations gain a unified pathway from origination through to realisation.
As an end-to-end example, the pair said they can support clients build AI strategies grounded in business and operational reality; design and deliver enterprise systems to achieve growth targets; select and implement platforms ready for AI integration; navigate complex change with clarity; and accelerate time-to-value while managing risk across systems, data, and people.
“At Alyve, we work with leaders who see the potential of AI but aren’t sure how to deliver meaningful AI-powered outcomes,” Cameron said. “This partnership bridges that gap. By combining our strengths, we’re helping organisations move beyond pilots and hype to build real capability, deploy AI responsibly, and deliver outcomes that genuinely shift the dial.”
