Rashnyl Prasad joins William Buck in Parramatta office
National mid-tier accounting and advisory firm William Buck has welcomed Rashnyl Prasad to its Parramatta office.
Appointed a director in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice, Rashnyl Prasad brings over 13 years of experience working with distressed companies on financial and operational restructuring matters.
Joining William Buck from Deloitte, Prasad works through the spectrum of stress and distress, helping small to medium and mid-market enterprises prepare contingencies, overcoming challenges swiftly, and delivering restructuring plans.
Prior to Deloitte, Prasad spent five years at Smith Hancock, a Western Sydney based accounting, reconstruction and insolvency firm.
“I’m thrilled to have joined William Buck. The William Buck team are experts in the middle-market and I’m looking forward to working with them to continue to provide quality restructuring services to our clients.”
The appointment lifts William Buck’s NSW-based directors to 46, with 3 of those in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice: Rashnyl Prasad, Michael Brereton and Sean Wengel.
“Michael and I are delighted to have Rashnyl on board to continue the growth trajectory of our restructuring division and assist in developing our emerging leaders within the team,” said Wengel. “Rashnyl’s background of helping clients to identify vulnerabilities and respond swiftly for favourable outcomes will enhance our ability to provide outstanding restructuring and insolvency services.”
The hire comes at a time when the number of Australian companies entering into external administration is on the rise. A recent from the Turnaround Management Association and KordaMentha forecasted that as a result, restructuring consultants will see pent-up demand in the coming twelve months.
