John Donnelly joins Advisory team of SJA as regional manager
SJA has strengthened its Advisory team with John Donnelly, who has been appointed as Regional Manager.
Based out of Melbourne, John Donnelly will oversee SJA’s advisory offerings in Melbourne and the Victoria region, including services that support builders and developers with planning and project delivery services, as well as services such as dispute resolution in the case projects derail.
Donnelly brings over three decades of experience in the construction, engineering, and consulting sectors to SJA.
A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a qualified Adjudicator, Donnelly has extensive experience in the commercial and contractual aspects of construction management on a wide range of types of projects. He is an expert in preparing and / or analysing contractual claims and supporting various methods of dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation and arbitration.
Over the course of his career, Donnelly has completed dozens of expert witness reports and provided evidence in both arbitration and litigation on matters of quantum in relation to delay, disruption and associated costs / damages.
Prior to joining SJA, Donnelly served as Australia Country Director at construction industry counterpart DGA Group, which is part of TSA Riley. Before that, he held senior roles at several consulting and engineering groups.
