Synechron launches new office in Sydney, 48th worldwide
Continuing its expansion across the globe, financial services-focused consultancy Synechron has launched a new office in Sydney’s Circular Quay.
Global digital transformation consultancy Synechron has officially launched a new office in Sydney, the 48th in its continually-expanding international network.
The firm, which focuses on the financial services and technology sectors, has been active in Australia since its 2020 acquisition of Melbourne-headquartered payments consultancy Attra, but says its new Sydney Place office will situate it in the city’s central hub for business and technology.
“Establishing our Sydney base marks a significant milestone in our journey and serves as a statement of intent,” commented Synechron A/NZ senior director Rajat Agrawal. “We are thrilled to welcome our team to this modern, thriving office location, embodying our confidence in the future. With significant investments in the region, we are demonstrating our commitment to continuing our growth and development in the market.”
The Sydney launch is just the latest chapter in Synechron’s remarkable growth story since its establishment in the US by co-founder and CEO Faisal Husain in 2001. Today, the firm has a global headcount pushing 15,000 employees across 19 countries worldwide – including new locations in Riyadh and Montreal added in the back half of last year – continuing in its march in a long-stated ambition of surpassing $1 billion in global revenues.
“I am so proud of Synechron’s trajectory,” Faisal said at the conclusion of the firm’s last financial period. “Despite difficult environmental challenges, we’ve held to our mission that we started the firm with back in 2001 – deploying technological solutions to solve real-world business challenges, and we’ve strategically and carefully invested toward further building the scope and depth of Synechron’s business and capabilities.”
Joining its existing Melbourne outlet established early last year, the latest office addition, located in the Salesforce Tower on George Street next door to Ernst & Young in Sydney’s Circular Quay, will now serve as the focal point for Synechron’s growing Australian team, with a comprehensive suite of services built around the firm’s six core practices, including in artificial intelligence, cloud, consulting, digital and data, and software engineering.
Completed at the end of 2022 as Sydney’s tallest commercial building, Synechron says its new Salesforce Tower office presents a modern, efficient workspace designed to foster collaboration and well-being, while also according with the firm’s ESG goals in its high-level sustainability ratings. Moreover, the move strategically positions Synechron to better serve its key clients in what Faisal describes as “the heart of Sydney’s innovative business ecosystem.”
