Madeleine McCure and Rajarshi Roy join leadership team of Mandala

Economics and research advisory firm Mandala is continuing to grow its senior team with the appointments of Madeleine McCure and Rajarshi Roy.
Headlining a 5-person cohort of promotees, Madeleine McCure and Rajarshi Roy have been elevated to Principal, the level below Partner, with the pair joining Jun Tong in the rank.
McCure previously held roles at Accenture in its Economic Insights practice, AlphaBeta Advisors, Commonwealth Bank, the NSW Treasury and as a senior advisor to the Hon Gladys Berejiklian. Her expertise covers sustainability and the energy transition, tech policy, industry development, financial services and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Mandala, Roy worked at AlphaBeta Advisors and more recently was an Engagement Manager in Accenture’s Economic Insights practice where he advised various technology companies across a range of domains on the potential impact of regulatory reform on consumers and the broader Australian economy. He has experience in strategy development, market analysis, economic modelling and policy reform.
Commenting on the appointments, Mandala Managing Partner Amit Singh said: “All the partners are thrilled to see Maddy and Rajarshi become principals. We’re particularly excited to see such fine leaders be promoted from within our rapidly growing firm as an important signal about how much we value our purpose and mission. Both have been extraordinary mentors to our people and live our culture and values.”
“Their contribution to building our high-performance culture is clear from the value and insight they have delivered for significant companies and influential government entities across ne. In a world where regulatory and policy environments are in flux, they have each delivered tangible results that stand the test of time in Australia and across Asia.”
In addition to these two promotions, Mandala also elevated Joshua Sinn to Engagement Manager, and Rebecca McKeague and Emily Hoare to Associate.
Since its founding in 2023, Mandala has grown to a team of around 50 staff operating across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Canberra. Earlier this year, the firm was named among the leading economics consulting firms in Australia in an industry benchmark.
