Economics consultancy Mandala promotes 8 to next level
Mandala has promoted eight staff in its mid-year promotion round, a record number for the rapidly growing homegrown economics consultancy.
Established just over a year ago, Mandala has since its inception seen rocket growth despite a challenging advisory market, recently welcoming its 40th team member. The firm’s consultants provide economic and public policy expertise to government agencies and private sector businesses.
Building on its growth, eight company members from across the firm’s ranks have now been promoted to the next level.
Hayley Winchcombe and Caitlin Abbott have been promoted to Engagement Manager, while Sergio Suarez and Nikhil Babu have been promoted to Manager. Ed Smyth, Chiquita Shaw and James Ghusn have been promoted to Associate, and rounding off the list, Emma Wride has been promoted to Operations Manager.
Jo Wood, Chief Operating Partner at Mandala, said the promotions reflect the firm’s growth and commitment to growing the careers of its next generation of leaders.
“The central mission of Mandala is to build a platform that inspires determined, inquisitive and humble people to leverage economics and data for impact. Staff development is at the core of why we exist and what we do – and we’re making investments to deliver on that promise.”
“We are intentional with each staff member in positioning them to achieve personal and career growth. In addition to the strong focus on building technical excellence, we also encourage our staff to pursue their passions – hoping that we can create an incubator of ambitious talent that will go out and do great things in wider society.”
Last week, Mandala was named among the leading economics consulting firms in Australia in a major industry benchmark.
