Colliers partners with Pollen in industrial real estate segment
The Australian arm of Colliers, one of the world’s largest real estate consultancies and brokers, has agreed a strategic partnership with Sydney-based boutique Pollen Consulting Group.
The alliance will see the two firms join their expertise and capabilities in the industrial real estate segment, which includes manufacturers, logistics companies and heavy industry groups. This will according to Doug Henry, Managing Director of Occupier Services at Colliers, enable the real estate agent to provide “a more in-depth industrial advisory solution” to its occupier clients in the segment.
Facing new technological possibilities due to the emergence of state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 technologies, and supply chain landscape that is becoming more sophisticated, industrial companies are increasingly integrating automation and digitised supply chains within their buildings, factories and warehouses. As a result, they are demanding such expertise from their real estate advisors.
This is where Pollen Consulting Group comes in. The 30-strong consulting firm is a leader in the manufacturing, logistics and warehousing sector, advising its clients on how they can streamline their supply chain networks and optimise their operations. “Both companies have complementary skillsets and in working together, we are able to provide best in class solutions from a property and logistics and supply chain advisory basis,” said Henry.
The two companies will work together on a range of client offerings for occupiers, spanning from developing a complete supply chain network design to something as simple as a change in material handling equipment or racking layout.
