Clients (and their consultants behind the scenes) win SAP awards
ERP giant SAP has unveiled the winners of its Best Run Awards, celebrating the achievements of companies in Australia and New Zealand that demonstrate excellence in the use and outcomes of SAP-based products and services.
The annual award is open to any organisation leveraging the SAP backbone, with awards handed out across twelve categories including cloud, experience management, customer experience, human resources and people management, and data & analytics, amongst others.
With a market share of 12% in the ERP space, Germany-headquartered SAP has been a leader in systems applications since it launched its first ERP system in 1972. Today, the company has 425,000 customers in 180+ countries.

The bulk of SAP work at client organisations is supported by external partners, with the likes of management consultants, IT specialists and system integrators typically brought on board to design, build and deliver (new) implementation projects. Further down the lifecycle, IT companies then support SAP clients with running, maintaining, enhancing and hosting their SAP ecosystem.
