Rimini Consult helps Clifford Hallam Healthcare with SAP upgrade
To support the upgrade of its SAP system, nationwide pharmaceutical and medical consumers distributor Clifford Hallam Healthcare called in the help of Rimini Consult.
A member of the federal government program, Community Service Obligation, Clifford Hallam Healthcare provides Australian residents with access to medicines.
From its eight warehouses across the nation, Clifford Hallam Healthcare distributes over 35,000 products to hospitals, pharmacies, senior care institutions and homes, and direct-to-consumer channels.
To run its operations, Clifford Hallam Healthcare makes use of SAP technology. Working together with Rimini Consult, a US technology consultancy that specialises in SAP services (the firm is also an Oracle and Salesforce partner), Clifford Hallam Healthcare over the past period upgraded its SAP BusinessObjects system from version 4.1 to 4.2.
SAP BusinessObjects is a SAP module for business intelligence and management reporting. Clifford Hallam Healthcare uses SAP BusinessObjects mainly for the commercial side of its business, providing insight in historic sales and actuals.
According to Nav Pillai, chief information officer at Clifford Hallam Healthcare, the upgrade not only helps the company better stay on course for its business goals, but also benefits data security, decision-making speed, and quality of reporting,
