William Buck promotes eight new directors and principals

The Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane offices of accounting and advisory network William Buck have celebrated the promotion of eight individuals to director and principal level to kick off the new year.

Accounting and advisory network William Buck has made eight senior promotions across its Australian offices, including superannuation veteran Tricia Kleinig in Adelaide and six individuals in Melbourne: Andrew Leigh, Nicholas Mirarchi, Lloyd McGeary, Darius Lee, Samantha Zebrowski, and Jeremy Raniti.

Meanwhile, senior accounting expert Ilna Ferreira has been elevated in Queensland.

Tricia Kleinig

Promoted to director, Kleinig is coming up on our decades of service, first joining the firm in Adelaide back in 1986. After a long period in William Buck’s business advisory practice, she switched to specialising in superannuation, appointed inaugural manager of the practice upon its launch in 2001. She is currently responsible for compliance and advice to over 250 SMSFs self-managed super funds

Andrew Leigh

One of six such office promotions, Leigh becomes a principal in William Buck’s audit & assurance team in Melbourne, having first joined the firm a decade ago before a one-year interval in an internal accounting compliance role with BP and subsequent return as manager in 2020.

Darius Lee

Also a member of the Melbourne audit & assurance team, Lee has been promoted after crossing to the firm in mid-2020, having earlier clocked up six and a half years at Ernst & Young. Working alongside Leigh and Lee is Chris Leahy, who was recruited as a director in Melbourne last year.

Nicholas Mirarchi

A member of the firm’s tax services team in Melbourne, Mirarchi joined William Buck as a graduate in 2015 on the completion of a law and commerce double at Deakin University.

Lloyd McGeary

“Wowee – good start to the year,” McGeary, a business advisory professional who joined the firm in 2017 from ShineWing (now SW Accountants), said on his promotion to principal alongside five of his colleagues. Earlier in his career, McGeary spent three years as a dispute officer with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.

Samantha Zebrowski

Zebrowski joined William Buck as a graduate in Melbourne in 2015 after completing an accounting & finance degree at Swinburne and has been steadily rising up the business advisory ranks in the nine years since, now promoted to principal.

Jeremy Raniti

A fellow member of William Buck’s business advisory practice in Melbourne, Raniti also joined the firm as a graduate accountant following a commerce bachelors, completed in 2012 from Australian Catholic University.

Ilna Ferreira

Finally, Ferreira has been promoted to principal in Brisbane, where she has managed William Buck’s growing bookkeeping business in Queensland since 2019 – bringing decades of experience dating back to the 1980s in Zimbabwe.
