Sententia Consulting adds four members to senior ranks
Canberra-based Sententia Consulting has boosted its senior ranks with four appointments.
In Canberra, Sententia Consulting has bolstered its senior team through the addition of experienced recruits Andrew Pike and Josie Lopez and the promotion of Tony Sanfrancesco as principal consultants – the latter who joined his former boss Mark Harrison from Protiviti in 2021 shortly after Sententia’s founding.
“This is a well-deserved achievement,” the firm said of Sanfrancesco’s promotion. “Tony is one of our earliest employees and has been hugely influential in shaping our business, both through his dedication to building and expanding strong client relationships as well as his role in shaping our team, in particular by leading the introduction of our graduate recruitment program.”
Lopez likewise brings a background from Protiviti, where she has spent the past three years as a director, prior to which she was a partner in Vincent’s assurance & risk advisory practice and a senior manager at PwC. Altogether adding up to more than two decades of auditing experience, Lopez spent the earlier part of her career at local accountancy WalterTurnbull.
Pike joins the firm on the back of a two-decade government consulting career covering a range of sectors, including among others education, defence, infrastructure, financial services and the environment. Most recently with Smarterknowledge, past employers include Projects Assured, Jacobs, Nous Group, and Ernst & Young, the latter where he served as an executive director.
Tom Fazio meanwhile joins Sententia Consulting from the partnership of BDO, where over 17 years he led the firm’s local risk advisory service line and was a member of the East Coast board, before which he also spent time as a partner at Deloitte. He specialises in in areas such as risk management transformation, regulatory compliance, internal controls, IT and security audits, and business process design and organisational improvement.
Fazio has been named the leader of Sententia Consulting’s just launched Melbourne office.
“We are delighted to welcome Tom to lead our services in the market. He is hugely experienced, having worked for 30 years in providing the sort of services that our clients expect, with deep integrity and strong technical expertise,” the firm stated.
