Global business and technology consultancy Slalom has led the individual finalist count for this year’s Women in ICT Awards, including Salesforce lead Jane Beck for career achievement.

The WIICTA ‘achievement’ category celebrates candidates with over two decades of experience who have made an unrivalled contribution to the ICT industry, with the winners to be announced next month in Sydney.

Three others from Slalom are also in the running across the eight categories; Radhini Sivanathan as a ‘shining star’, Asma Gulbaz in the entrepreneur category, and Brooke Adams for her efforts in driving diversity & inclusion.

Based out Melbourne, Jane Beck heads up Slalom’s Salesforce practice for Australia and New Zealand, having joined the firm from DXC Technology in 2020. Earlier she was Victoria solutions practice manager at SMS Management & Technology prior to its acquisition by ASG Group (now NRI), and started her two-and-half-decade career as a management consultant at PwC Consulting and IBM.

Having recently been promoted to managing director, Slalom business advisory leader Radhini Sivanathan has once again been named as a finalist in the ‘shining star’ category, for those with between one and two decades of experience who consistently achieve outstanding business results. Like Beck, Sivanathan joined the firm in Melbourne in 2020 and got her career start at PwC.

A principal quality engineer with Slalom in Sydney since 2022, Asma Gulbaz boasts two decades of local and international experience and is a finalist in the ‘entrepreneur’ category – which recognises excellence in launching new ventures, products or services and an “enterprising candidate with a risk-taking mentality and proven background of building innovation from the ground up.”

Meanwhile, Melbourne-based human resources director Brooke Adams, who joined the firm from Accenture in 2020 with earlier stints at BHP and NAB, is up for DEI champion award, issued to influential individuals who actively drive diversity & inclusion initiatives through mentoring and thought leadership – with Slalom consistently named as one of the country’s best places to work.

Women in ICT Awards

Established locally in 2012, Women in ICT Awards is an initiative of online IT industry publication ARN to honour the achievements of female ICT professionals at various stages of their career, covering Australia’s advisory, vendor and partner ecosystem.

Slalom last year featured two finalists – Lucy Easter and Jacqui Lillyman – with Sivanathan having been shortlisted the year prior.
