Spark continues partnership with Infosys for latest IT transformation

New Zealand’s largest telecommunications and digital services company Spark has signed a multiyear agreement with Infosys focused on advancing its technology delivery model.
Auckland-headquartered Spark provides digital services to millions of New Zealanders and thousands of New Zealand businesses.
The new deal with Infosys, an India-headquartered group, will see the tech consulting company help Spark modernise its technology environment and applications. Infosys will provide consulting and software expertise to help build, test, integrate, and deliver Spark’s systems and applications, along with monitoring and support.
Infosys will also support the transformation of Spark’s technology delivery model through digital innovation, including in areas such as artificial intelligence and intelligent automation.
Matt Bain, Data and Marketing Director at Spark, said that the collaboration will contribute to reduced IT operating costs, boost IT agility and flexibility, and drive digital-driven innovation.

Infosys will deliver the transformation with an on the ground team locally in New Zealand, flanked by teams from across its Technology Centres worldwide (mainly in Australia and India).
