RecordPoint, an international provider of data management and governance solutions, has inked a strategic partnership with Oceanic Consulting Group, one of the nation’s leading consultancies.

Through the partnership, Oceanic Consulting Group (OCG) will serve as a preferred advisory and implementation partner of RecordPoint solutions, which help organizations discover, govern, and control their data for tighter compliance, more efficiency, and less risk.

Founded in 2009, RecordPoint has offices in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US, serving customers operating in different sectors worldwide. The partnership with OCG will focus on the financial services industry, with the stated aim to help institutions build stronger data foundations and future-proof their governance frameworks in an increasingly complex landscape.

“Partnering with Oceanic Consulting Group marks a strategic step forward in our mission to transform how financial institutions manage, govern, and unlock the value of their data. OCG’s deep expertise and trusted relationships across the region will accelerate our ability to deliver smarter, scalable data governance solutions to customers who need them most,” said Kris Brown, EVP Partners and Solutions Engineering at RecordPoint.

“We are thrilled to formalise our partnership with RecordPoint and continue supporting our joint clients in the strategic and operational implementation of the platform,” added OCG Managing Director James Dickson. “By combining RecordPoint’s innovative technology with OCG’s deep experience navigating financial services and regulatory expectations, we are enabling organisations to achieve smarter, compliant outcomes with confidence.”

The data governance-focused partnership comes shortly after OCG re-modelled its own governance, in response to rapid growth the firm underwent over the past 12 months.
