In the year preceding its 20th anniversary, advisory and restructuring firm McGrathNicol has for the first time broken through the barrier of 50 partners.

The promotion of Linda Smith and Michael Gray of 1st January 2023 has lifted McGrathNicol’s partnership to the size of 51. They lead a team of over 300 consultants and staff across six offices in Australia and one in New Zealand.

Part of the firm’s annual year-start talent round, McGrathNicol promoted a record number of colleagues to their next career level across ranks, and recruited 25 graduates to full time positions. “The appointments to kick off 2023 demonstrates our ambition for the year,” said McGrathNicol Chairman, Jason Preston.
