Somerville rebrands as Atturra Managed Services
Six months after acquiring Somerville, Atturra has rebranded the firm as Atturra Managed Services.
In March, Atturra announced its purchase of Somerville, which operates with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The IT services company provides a range of managed services to around 500 corporate and education sectors, including more than 285 independent schools across Australia.
ASX-listed Atturra provides consultancy, technology build, and IT implementation services, as well as solutions. Its managed services business provides day-to-day support around cloud, connectivity, modern workplace, security, and hardware and software lifecycle management.
“Atturra Managed Services is an extremely strategic part of our business that will open up new avenues for innovation and growth and reinforce services delivery to boost growth in supporting large end-to-end projects in key target sectors, including education,” said Stephen Kowal, the CEO of Atturra.
Commenting on the milestone, company founder Craig Somerville, who now serves as General Manager of Atturra Managed Services, said: “We’re looking forward to working with the wider Atturra business to access more resources, capabilities and strong partnerships to add even more value for our clients who have put their trust in us over the last 40 years knowing that we always have their business interests at heart.”
Last month, Atturra closed two other deals, with both Cirrus (based in Perth) and Sabervox (based in Newcastle) bolstering its managed services offering.
