V2 Digital expands leadership team with three new principals
Australian data & cloud consultancy V2 Digital has been boosting its senior leadership ranks, with three new design and data & AI principals recruited over the past month.
Ashley Rodan and Pete Bidstrup respectively join from Arinco and Culture Amp as data & AI and software principals in Melbourne, while Sydney-based design expert Paul Hajj earlier crossed from real estate marketplace Domain.
Led by chief exec Craig Howe, V2 Digital was established eighteen months ago and earlier this year received a $30 million funding boost from Columbia Capital, with the intention of building its team to 90-plus by year’s-end.
“Since founding V2 Digital, we’ve been on a mission to become a true trusted partner that co-creates with our clients as one team,” Howe told IT industry publication CRN of its latest senior arrivals. “To support our clients to continually evolve and achieve fast return on investment from projects of significance, we are focussed on growing and diversifying our team’s skill-set.”
Ashley Rodan
Rodan crosses after spending the past eighteen months at Microsoft AI consultancy Arinco (which sits under the Quadrant-backed Connetico umbrella), where he served as its principal AI consultant. Previously, he was a senior consultant at Servian (bought by Cognizant in 2021), and brings over a decade and a half of IT industry experience, including recent time spent at HotDoc and Qantas.
Pete Bidstrup
Noted for his “deep expertise in distributed systems and back-end architecture”, Bidstrup meanwhile joins V2 after most recently serving as principal engineer at Melbourne-headquartered employee experience platform Culture AMP, before which he was a senior software engineer at US contact centre technology provider Five9 and spent close to four years at Telstra.
Paul Hajj
The pair join Paul Hajj, who was recruited as a principal design consultant in October after more than three and a half years at Domain, where he served as principal product designer. Prior to that, Hajj spent a similar period at IAG, including as the insurer’s lead experience designer, with earlier stints at NSW-based strategic design consultancy Folk and the Commonwealth Bank.
V2 Digital
Howe, who served as Contino’s Asia Pacific managing director prior to setting up V2 Digital (with Contino also acquired by Cognizant during his time), revealed to CRN that the consultancy has now grown its headcount to more than 60 people across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, having since its founding landed major clients in the retail, financial services, media, and energy sectors.
